Bleep Background

Lee Perry is a composer/producer with 18 years’ experience working with major and independent record labels within the industry. Lee has worked on numerous projects including hip-hop, drum n bass, break-beat, electro, house, indie-rock etc. With a number of albums/singles and re-mixes under his belt, he fully understands the process of translating his own and other artists’ creative ideas into finished pieces of work.

Lee has provided production services for many established acts but enjoys the challenge and thrill of producing up and coming artists: “It’s a great feeling when you work with someone to help bring their compositions to life, you get a real sense of achievement, particularly with young artists who are just starting to find their own style.” Realising the personal benefits of music production, Lee now wants to show other people how enjoyable the whole process can be:

“After spending the majority of my life enjoying making music and building up my studio, I was looking for a way to utilise my skills positively by giving people the chance to experience the process of music creation themselves. With the advance in laptop and mobile recording technology, I decided the time was right to take the studio to the people, and Bleep Music was born!” .
